On the Seventh Day of Advent
My Mom has been posting on the days of advent. So I thought I would do the same.
On The Seventh Day of Advent…
I woke up at 4am sneezing, I’m not sure if I’m getting sick or if it’s from allergies because we bought a broom yesterday and I swept our patio for the first time.
Kris wasn’t feeling too well (and neither was I) so we missed church, I cooked egg McMuffins for breakfast and drank a mixed drink that Kris showed me how to make—Orange Juice and Cranberry Juice. Then we went to Jacob’s class.
After class we went to Bed Bath & Beyond and exchanged most of our gift cards for cash. Then I cooked some hamburgers on a cast iron pan. They were good because I bought some really good patties at Costco, they don’t seem to have as much fat in them as most patties so there’s also less grease to clean up. It took me about five minutes to pick them but they’re the best ones. One of the things I don’t like about most patties is they end up being half the size of the bun by the time they’re done. These were just right.
Kris (who doesn’t like to write) says: We didn’t really do anything out of the ordinary.
