REI Responds to Email
I made an order from REI and realized I needed it sent to a different address (since I had just moved). Naturally I responded to the order confirmation email. What do you think happened?
I got a message back from mailer-daemon?
I got no response at all as my message got stuck in a black hole?
I got a form response that had nothing to do with my message?
None of the above.
A human being at REI emailed me back with the contents of their email responding to the contents of the email I sent them!
Normally I would say this is merely expected customer service not meriting praise, but I have been conditioned to think businesses don’t know how to use email. I am impressed. Well done REI.
