Yes! My computer booted! …with a fried primary channel on the motherboard (just re-routed it to the secondary channel) and semi-fried hard drive! …that’s 1 in a million or an answer to prayer.

“Thank you for your enquiry. You may have read recent press articles about a recall of Fujitsu desktop hard disk drives. All the articles we have seen to date are inaccurate, Fujitsu has made no such announcement, and there is no recall of these or any other disk drives from Fujitsu.”
The only good brand left is Western Digital who’s drives are so reliable they work while on fire.

Update on Sco lawsuits. The Linux community, after being accused of stealing code from Sco is now accusing Sco of stealing Linux kernel code. Sco has given IBM a midnight deadline this Friday to respond to its lawsuit. If IBM does not respond it will revoke the AIX license… that is EVERYONE who bought a legal copy of AIX will have an unlicensed copy. Also the Open Group is suing Apple over the Unix trademark. What is the computer world come to?!! It will be illegal to own a computer if this keeps up!

Update on Legal Mess:
To bring you up to date: Sco is mad because they are losing business because everyone is switching to Linux. SCO is suing IBM for $1 billion for possibly leaking the Unix code to Linux. SCO said that unless their sales go up they will sue Linus (inventer of Linux). Novell stepped up to put an end to this by telling Sco that they own the copyright to Unix.
Breaking News: Sco is now suing Novell for saying they own the copyright to Unix!

“Linux is an unauthorized derivative of Unix and that legal liability for the use of Linux may extend to commercial users.” –exerpt from a letter Sco sent to 15,000 companies.
Sco is suing IBM ($1 billion lawsuit) for leaking Unix source code to Linux Developers, although this has been going on for weeks and Sco hasn’t provided a shred of evidence.
In the middle of all this, Novell has released a statement that THEY OWN the copyrights to Unix.
I believe the truth is, Sco is jealous of IBM because Sco is not making any money on Sco Unix (why would you want to pay several thousands on Sco Unix when you could get Linux for free?) …instead Sco is relying on lawsuits for revenue.
