Today I went through statements, invoices, receipts, checks, etc. A while ago I re-installed Windows on my machine but I forgot to make a recent backup of my Quicken data. It also slipped my mind that someone stole my Quicken CD. I finally got another copy from dad and then discovered that Quicken doesn’t backup your files correctly. Fortunatly I was able to recover all but the last 3 months from an older backup.

After reading about another shootout at LAX, you know what? we just need to encourage civilians to carry weapons. Nobody is going to try anything if he knows everyone else is carrying a gun.

Ashley, Tarin and I went to a Regency dance! oh what a blast. From running around in circles to trying to remember left from right. The cookies left much to desire but the punch was alright! We had a fine evening …even if it was a little scandelous.

Ben is about ready to go home from work. The he gets an urgent message: “Deliver this part to Yucaipa. Urgent.” Ben takes to the road swirving his truck onto the jammed freeway. Ben sits and sits. 30 minutes later Ben arrives at the shop. An employee sees him and then speeds off in a tow-truck. Ben exits his truck, walks up to the shop and opens the door…no wait, the door is locked. Ben pounds on door and waits. …nothing. He calls Ford and there is a slight radio miscommunication that takes place over the course of 15 more minutes. Finally the radio crackles, “well, take the part back. come on back.” Ben drives back behind a load of slow trucks and finally pulls in and deactivates the engine. He hurredly stows his gear and clocks out 40 minutes late. This was a long rough day for Ben, but he is happy. Why is he happy? Because tomorrow is Saturday! And tomorrow, is a day full of freedom, excitement, programming, and adventure. |:-)
